This series was taken unexpectedly one afternoon at Aubree’s home.
The assignment started as a request from Aubree’s Mother to capture a family photograph, but it didn’t take long to realize that this seven-year-old was not so seven. Better known as Breezy, her ease of connection and confidence made it impossible to put down the camera as she carries a tomboy personality with a glamorous twist that renders her perfectly charming.
It was cold, but we stayed tough and spent the day outside on the street. At the end of the shoot and several outfits later, Breezy walked the road home wearing a ruffled dress accompanied by leopard pants, chipped nail polish, and dirty hands. Exactly who she is, the glamorous tomboy.
